The winner of the Greek Yogourt giveaway was comment #4 GloGirl! Congratulations and I know you'll enjoy the yogourt as much as we do!
I didn't realize there we so many different
recipes that could be made with yogourt including muffins, smoothies, dips and others for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I decided to make my own strawberry banana smoothies very similar to the
raspberry ones on the Astro website. I used frozen strawberries, Astro Greek Yogourt in strawberry, milk, ground flax, carrots (great way to hide veggies), honey, and bananas. I don't measure anything, just toss it all into the blender and add more milk or yogourt until it's a consistency I like then enjoy as a nice afternoon snack!
My nine month old is very picky when it comes to veggies but she loves yogourt so I would puree veggies that didn't have too strong of flavor such as cauliflower, zucchini and yams then mix it into the Astro Greek Yogourt strawberry flavour and she would just devour every spoonful! It's working really well to get her to eat veggies and I feel great feeding this yogourt to her with all the nutritional value it has.
